WEBSITE Updated 26/05/08 Adam Jansch: V4 is the personal website of Adam Jansch. It is designed and hand-coded by Adam Jansch himself, and is based around XHTML, CSS, PHP and Javascript.Jansch has followed certain design concepts with Adam Jansch: V4. Three key concepts are modularity, automation and colour coding. The first two of these concepts are meant to simplify site maintenance and administration with the third improving user navigation, although the integration of these three concepts is what is most fundamental. Also, Jansch has been looking at the grouping and display of website information. He has envisaged a website that allows flexible access to all elements of a website as the user wants to view them, using AJAX as the engine. The tools used by Jansch in creating Adam Jansch: V4 are Panic Coda, Taco HTML Edit and Parallels Desktop (for Windows compatibility), and the site is coded to W3 XHTML Strict guidelines.
