Hades is an exploration into the tone of the trumpet, using little more than time-stretching and transposition processing to focus in on the instrument's intrinsic timbre. It was created entirely from a single recording of Chris Dowding playing trumpet in St. Paul's Hall, at the University of Huddersfield.
