One of two compositions written by Adam Jansch for a second year composition module at the University of Huddersfield, Lost Identities makes use of a wide palette of sound material to create an atmosphere that swings from tense to serene. Recordings of piano, played by Jansch, and the trumpet of Chris Dowding are mixed with found sound and that of Radio 4's shipping forecast.
